Saint Mary’s Fulbright Named a 2023 Fulbright HSI Leader

Saint Mary’s College of California was named today as a Fulbright HSI (Hispanic-Serving Institution) Leader for 2023. 每年，美国政府都在进行财政改革.S. Saint Mary’s is one of only 14 master’s universities in 美国.S.—and one of fewer than 50 institutions of higher education overall—to earn recognition as a Fulbright HSI Leader this year. 

The State Department made the Saint Mary’s announcement today at the national meeting of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities. Fulbright HSI Leaders demonstrate noteworthy support for Fulbright exchange participants and promote Fulbright program opportunities on campus. 该计划鼓励管理人员, 教师, and 学生 at HSIs to engage with Fulbright and highlights the strength of HSIs as destinations for international 学生 and 十大网赌平台.

自2015年以来, Saint Mary’s has earned the designation as a Hispanic Serving Institution, with full-time equivalent undergraduate student enrollment that is at least 25% Hispanic. 在SMC, 33% of the incoming first-year 学生 are Latinx or Hispanic, as are nearly 30% of 学生 transferring to the College this fall.

Pairing World-Class Educational Opportunities with the Power of Fulbright
